University Housing
For students living in dormitory parking lots, we will issue a permit for your specific dorm area. If you change dorms, you may return your current permit for a free replacement. These permits cost $160 per year.
Park & Ride
Park & Ride permits are valid in lots 301 and 302, accessible from Clinton Parkway & Crestline Drive. These permits cost $205 per year, and include a KU on Wheels bus pass valid during the Fall & Spring semesters. For more information, visit the Park & Ride web site.
Yellow Zones
Students who are not incoming freshmen with more than 30 credit hours may purchase a parking permit for yellow zones. These permits cost $160 per year.
Mississippi Street Parking Garage
A limited number of permits are available for student permits in the Mississippi Street Parking Garage. In order to receive this permit, you must put your name on the waiting list at KU parking & Transit. This must be done in person, and cannot be accomplished any other way. We will verify your enrollment status at the time you come to the top of the list, which usually happens within 1-2 semesters. These permits cost $200 per year.
Allen Fieldhouse Parking Garage
A limited number of permits are available for student permits in the Allen Fieldhouse Parking Garage. In order to receive this permit, you must be a graduate student in a qualifying building and put your name on the waiting list at KU parking & Transit. This must be done in person, and cannot be accomplished any other way. We will verify your enrollment status at the time you come to the top of the list, which usually happens within 3-4 semesters. These permits cost $200 per year.
