Buy Permits Online

KU Parking & Transit is pleased to announce that 2008-09 parking permits for students on the Lawrence campus are on sale now in the “Services” tab of the Kyou portal! Follow these easy steps:

1. Log into the Kyou portal
2. Click on "Services"
3. Follow the online instructions

Your permit fee will be billed directly to your student (tuition) account, and your new permit will be mailed to you at the address you specify — yes, you read that right: buy your permit online instead of standing in line this August.

Lot Closures

Lot 91 (Memorial Stadium) and a portion of lot 111 (GSP/Corbin) will be closed for parking lot reconstruction beginning June 30, and will reopen by Monday, August 18.

Due to the large number of construction projects on and around campus, all staff permits will be valid in the Mississippi Street Parking Garage, through August 15, 2008. Access to Jayhawk Boulevard east of Sunflower Road is from 13th Street.

Summer bus routes have been moved to Memorial Drive. In order to safely maintain two-way traffic, two areas of 10 parking spaces each will be closed along the north side of the street. These areas will be marked and blocked with barricades.

If you are trying to clear a parking hold...

Students, faculty and staff can now view and pay tickets online in the Kyou portal. Log in, then click on the "Finances" tab to see your outstanding balance. Your hold will be cleared 30-45 minutes after your payment is processed. If you are unable to see your citations in the Kyou portal, you can pay your tickets by entering your license plate number into the General Public payment page below.
