Rec Center Only Parking

Although the reserved area is no longer available, students with University Housing or Park & Ride permits may still obtain a "Rec Center Only" permit to park anywhere in lot 90 while using the Student Fitness and Recreation Center.

KU Parking & Transit is pleased to announce that 2008-09 parking permits for students on the Lawrence campus are on sale now in the “Services” tab of the Kyou portal! Follow these easy steps:

1. Log into the Kyou portal
2. Click on "Services"
3. Follow the online instructions

Your permit fee will be billed directly to your student (tuition) account, and your new permit will be mailed to you at the address you specify — yes, you read that right: buy your permit online instead of standing in line this August.

If you are trying to clear a parking hold...

Students, faculty and staff can now view and pay tickets online in the Kyou portal. Log in, then click on the "Finances" tab to see your outstanding balance. Your hold will be cleared 30-45 minutes after your payment is processed. If you are unable to see your citations in the Kyou portal, you can pay your tickets by entering your license plate number into the General Public payment page below.

Construction Notices

While construction is going on at Memorial Stadium for the new football complex and practice fields, parking will be very limited. There are new parking lots (56, 57, 58 and 65) on the west side of the stadium, which can be reached from the intersection of 11th & Maine. Don't forget that any KU permit is valid in the Park & Ride lot this year, accessible from Clinton Parkway & Crestline Drive.
